First week: So far everyone is excited and were all ready to fight. We are the allies. Lots of new guys and my old friends are here too. The machine guns are amazing, and the planes are too. This should be over by christmas, and I can't wait to see my family. Well, have to go practice now.
A couple months in: This isn't like we thought. So much death and the gas is horrible. We have masks now but, at first was unbarable. The trenches have to be the worst though. We can't advance on them, and they can't advance on us either. The zepplins wipe us out in large groups and it's hard to see them coming. The problem is half our nation is industrialised ( The north, where I come from.) and the other half is not ( The South).
When the war in 1915 started we were fighting with germany because they promised us land but they lied so we signed a secret treaty with london. When we were fighting with germany it put way to much pressure on us. In 1918 russia then left the war. Also in 1918 the allies launched a attack towards german. It drove them back across France and Belgium.
